TODD SCHAFFER, director
With over 350 projects under his belt, Todd is a seasoned professional. After 10 years in Atlanta as a producer and assistant director, he has worked on national and regional commercials, and corporate, training and music videos. Network credits include MTV, MTV2, BET, VH1, CNN, NBC and the Weather Channel, which he helped to re-brand.
Todd's career in film began in Hollywood as an extra on the TV series "Doogie Howser." A mere 8 movies, 17 episodics, 43 commercials and only 1 video (Reba McEntire and Vince Gill's "The Heart Won't Lie") later, he realized that behind the camera was where he needed to be. He loves music videos because they allow him to tell a story and, given his short attention span, 3:30 is about all he can take.
Bringing together a team of experienced peers to create Launch South was something he wanted to do for a long time, and he is excited to see what's next.
DOUG MOORE, director of photography
Doug began shooting over 20 years ago with the popular "PM Magazine" in New Orleans. When he became creative director at Pollaro Advertising in Dallas, Texas, he lensed national spots for Chevy, Ford and Honda. He then went on to Los Angeles where he shot numerous small features with an accent on USC projects. Since moving to Atlanta over 10 years ago, he has worked with MTV, Jive Records, the Weather Channel, and recently the Disney Power Rangers at Studio West in Auckland, New Zealand.
KATE SIEGEL, writer / executive assistant
For more than 20 years, Kate has worked in graphic design and publishing on a wide variety of print, web and video projects with clients ranging from musicians, artists and entrepreneurs to non-profits, civic groups and international corporations. Kate appears for several seconds in the independent action film Blood Ties (2006), and she also performs with an Atlanta flute quartet.
